Mental Health Therapist / MSW

Mindify Wellness and Care is actively hiring mental health professionals for an immediate opening at one of our partner adult day care centers in South Amboy, NJ!

We are seeking compassionate and motivated professionals to provide onsite behavioral health services to clients attending our partner adult day care center, with additional opportunities to provide telehealth services.

We welcome MSWs, LSWs, LACs, LPCs, LCSWs, LMFTs, and other qualified behavioral health professionals, including recent graduates and early-career clinicians.

An established patient caseload is available, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible!

What Mindify Offers

• Established Caseload: Patients are available, with ongoing referrals.

• Flexible Scheduling: Onsite opportunities generally available 1–3 days per week.

• Onsite & Telehealth: Provide services at our partner adult day care center, with additional telehealth opportunities available.

• Administrative Support: Assistance with scheduling, referrals, and patient coordination.

• Clinical Supervision: Provided when required for eligible clinicians.

• Malpractice Coverage: Company-provided coverage.

• Collaborative Team: Work alongside psychiatric providers and other behavioral health professionals.

Schedule & Location

Onsite Location: Partner adult day care center in South Amboy, NJ

• Onsite services generally needed 1–3 days per week

• Typical onsite hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–1:00 PM

• Additional telehealth sessions may be scheduled on the same days as onsite services or on separate days

• Scheduling flexibility based on provider availability and patient needs

Applicants must be available to provide onsite services in South Amboy. Candidates who can consistently commit to at least one onsite day per week are encouraged to apply.

Compensation

$35–$45 per completed clinical session

Compensation is based on qualifications, licensure, credentials, and clinical experience.

Payment is provided for completed sessions. Patient cancellations and no-shows are not compensated.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide onsite behavioral health services to clients at our partner adult day care center.

• Conduct behavioral health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.

• Provide individual and/or group therapy within the clinician's authorized scope of practice.

• Offer telehealth services as scheduled and appropriate.

• Use evidence-based, trauma-informed treatment approaches.

• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.

• Collaborate with psychiatric providers and other members of the treatment team.

• Support clients in improving emotional well-being, developing coping skills, and achieving treatment goals.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field.

• MSW graduates and professionals with New Jersey credentials such as LSW, LAC, LPC, LCSW, or LMFT are encouraged to apply.

• Recent graduates and early-career professionals are welcome.

• Ability to provide onsite services at our partner adult day care center in South Amboy, NJ.

• Strong communication, organizational, and clinical documentation skills.

• Experience working with adults, older adults, or community-based behavioral health populations is preferred but not required.

All clinical responsibilities are assigned according to the provider's qualifications, authorized scope of practice, and applicable supervision requirements.

Position Type

Part-Time | 1099 Independent Contractor

Mindify provides administrative support, patient referrals, malpractice coverage, and clinical supervision when required.

Potential W-2 employment arrangements may be discussed with our clinical team during the interview process.
