Program Director: Life Enrichment & Clinical Operations
Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic, creative, and organized Program Director to lead our adult medical center. The ideal candidate isn't just an administrator; they are a "Chief Experience Officer" who can design a world-class social and recreational program while ensuring top-tier medical oversight. Your goal is to make our center the highlight of our seniors' day through innovative programming, community building, and a joyful atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
Signature Programming: Design and execute a monthly calendar of "fun and functional" activities—ranging from music therapy and interactive technology to fitness challenges and themed social events.
Culture Building: Foster a warm, inclusive, and high-energy environment where seniors feel seen, heard, and excited to participate.
Clinical Oversight: Supervise the medical staff (Nurses, Aides, Therapists) to ensure that health monitoring and treatments are seamlessly integrated into the daily "fun" schedule.
Team Leadership: Hire and mentor a team that is not only clinically competent but also passionate about senior engagement and hospitality.
Community Outreach: Build partnerships with local performers, lecturers, and volunteers to bring fresh, diverse programming into the center.
Facility Management: Ensure the physical environment is safe, clean, and decorated to reflect a welcoming, upscale community center rather than a sterile clinic.
Required Skills & Qualifications
The "Creative Spark": Proven experience in event planning, recreational therapy, or hospitality management within a healthcare setting.
Leadership Experience: 3+ years in a supervisory role (Program Director, Assistant Director, or similar) in an adult day center or senior living community.
Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with state licensing and safety protocols to ensure "fun" never compromises "compliance."
Communication: Exceptional ability to engage with seniors, their families, and professional partners with empathy and humor.
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Recreational Therapy, Social Work, or a related field.
